Spring 2025 Season In-Person Referee Training

--- Class Date/ Time will be announced in late January 2025 --

OYAA Referee Training is required for all referees

• Must be 12 yrs or older by April 11, 2025
• Spring Season Training - Early March
• Fall Season Training - Early August
• Free to Sign Up
• Referees must purchase an OYAA referee shirt.
• Referees required to have their own whistle and watch

* Class #1: (in-person) for new and returning refs with 1-2 seasons of experience
* Class #2: (virtual) for returning referees with 3+ seasons of experience

Referee Shirts
Referees will be asked to purchase a game-day referee shirt.  Cost is $12.00  Referees who purchased the new Black Moisture wicking shirt in past do not need to purchase another shirt.  If you are an USSF grade 8 (or higher) referee you can wear your referee shirt (and badge) and you do not need an OYAA issued referee shirt unless you want to order one.

Game Signup
Schedules will posted on the Arbiter Sports site for referees to pick dates, times and locations that work for their personal schedules. Referees will learn how to create an account and sign-up for games as part of the training classes.
